November Tasting Event: Roastery: Stay High

Coffee lovers, this is a story about Stay High Coffee roasters. 

One day in 2016, Tom and Kat met in London and fell in love over their shared love of all things coffee. The two were in their early 20s and 30s and worked as baristas in speciality coffee shops across London. They were passionate about the way coffee could bring people together and dreamed of one day owning their own coffee shop. But then they had a mad idea. Why not roast their own beans? They could have more control over their product and make a bigger difference in the world. They decided to take their love of coffee to another level and in February 2023, Stay High Coffee Roasters was born. 

They also have one other goal in mind: to do good in the world. They believe that there are still some good people out there who care about where their morning cup came from just as much as they do. 

They realised that great coffee doesn't just taste good—it has the power to make you feel good too! That's why they're committed to supporting local farmers who grow excellent beans, making sure that each cup is ethically sourced and helping keep the planet healthy while they do it. They knew right away that this was going to be a long journey but at least now they know exactly where it's going - straight into your cup.
