POSTPONED: February Tasting Event: Penelope Speciality Coffee

Penelope brings all the love to our February event, offering a selection of Single Origin coffee for both Filter and Espresso. They work alongside coffee importers who support the coffee communities. Focusing on fairtrade, fair wages for the farmers and sustainable environmentally friendly production.

Their passion for exploring coffee has sent them around the world for different experiences. Owning a cafe in Melbourne, SCAE training in Italy, working on coffee farms in Costa Rica, to competing and roasting in New Zealand. Now based in Tunbridge Wells, UK.

For the business founder Giancarlo, the quality starts on the land with the farmers and is finished in your cup. The small attention to detail along the way makes all the difference and elevates beans from being good to great. This is what truly creates a speciality bean, it’s then his job to roast the beans to showcase their flavour profiles.

Currently placed 10th in the UK from the SCA Roasting Championship of 2023!
